Terms of service
Our contract with you: plans, payments, cancellation and liability.
Draft — to be reviewed by a qualified UK solicitor before taking paying customers. Bracketed items still need completing.

1. About these terms
These terms are a contract between you (the business signing up) and [Legal entity name to be confirmed] ("we", "us"), trading as DigiFront, a company registered in England and Wales (number [company number]), registered office [registered office address].
They apply to businesses only — the service isn't offered to consumers. By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them.
2. The service
We design, host and manage a website for your business and, depending on your plan, provide the features below. We may improve or change how features work, but we won't materially reduce what your plan includes without notice.
- Essentials (£49.00/month + £149.00 setup): a professionally designed website; hosting, ssl security and daily backups; updates and maintenance handled for you; ai website assistant, answering 24/7; enquiry capture and online booking; confirmation texts to your customers; seo foundations: technical seo, structured data and ai-search readiness; 1 small change a month.
- Growth (£99.00/month + £249.00 setup): everything in Essentials, plus ongoing local seo work; ongoing ai-search optimisation; google business profile check-up; monthly performance report; priority changes.
- AI Telephone Receptionist, Starter (optional, £25.00/month): includes 100 minutes of calls per calendar month; further minutes are charged at 20p per minute (rounded up to the next minute). Unused minutes don't carry over. You can switch bundle from the next month.
- AI Telephone Receptionist, Busy (optional, £59.00/month): includes 400 minutes of calls per calendar month; further minutes are charged at 15p per minute (rounded up to the next minute). Unused minutes don't carry over. You can switch bundle from the next month.
3. Founding customer offer
While places remain (20 in total), new Growth customers pay the founding price of £49.00/month and £149.00 setup — the same as Essentials. The founding monthly price is guaranteed for 12 months from sign-up. After that it moves to the standard Growth price, or you can switch to Essentials; we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any change.
In return, we'd love a short testimonial or case study once you're up and running. This is a request, not a condition of the price.
4. Fees and payment
- The one-off setup fee and first month are paid at sign-up. The monthly fee is then charged in advance each month by card (Stripe) or Direct Debit (GoCardless).
- Receptionist minutes above your allowance are charged monthly in arrears.
- We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged. If we register, we'll tell you how prices are affected at least 30 days in advance.
- We may change standard prices with at least 30 days' notice; you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- If a payment fails we'll let you know and retry. If it remains unpaid for 14 days we may suspend the service until it's paid.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your business and confirm it before we publish it — especially prices, qualifications, opening hours, service areas and any guarantees.
- Only provide content (text, photos, logos, testimonials) you have the right to use, and only testimonials that are genuine and that the customer agreed you could publish.
- Hold any licences, registrations or insurance your trade requires. We don't verify these beyond what you show us.
- Use the service in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Respond to enquiries and bookings that come through the service — they're your customers.
6. Our responsibilities
- Build your site with reasonable skill and care, and publish nothing important until you've approved it.
- Keep the website hosted, secure, backed up and updated, aiming for at least 99.5% monthly availability (excluding planned maintenance and events outside our control).
- Respond to support requests within one working day, and make the small changes included in your plan.
- Process personal data on your behalf in line with our Data Processing Agreement.
7. AI features
The website assistant and telephone receptionist use artificial intelligence. They're designed to answer only from the information you've approved and to say when they don't know, and their replies are automatically checked — but AI can still make mistakes. They don't give professional, safety or emergency advice beyond the wording you've approved.
Calls to the AI receptionist may be recorded and transcribed so we can deliver call summaries and improve quality. Callers are told they're speaking to an AI.
You're responsible for checking bookings and messages and following up with your customers.
8. Ownership
- You own your business content, logo, photos and customer data.
- We own the platform, software and design system. While you're subscribed you have a licence to use the website we build for you.
- Your domain name stays registered in your name (or will be transferred to you on request).
- If you leave, we'll provide your content and data in a standard format on request within 30 days.
9. Cancellation
Plans are monthly rolling. You can cancel at any time from your billing page or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for. Setup fees aren't refundable once work has started. See our Cancellation & refunds page for details.
We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms (for example, unlawful use or persistent non-payment).
10. Liability
Nothing limits liability that can't legally be limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill — including enquiries or bookings that are missed or mishandled.
Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. [Solicitor to confirm.]
11. General
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control.
- We may update these terms with 30 days' notice; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
- Questions and notices: hello@digifront.example.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
